Textile Technologist

Requested Education

§  University degree in Textile Technology

§  Advanced level in English both spoken and written (esp. Technical English)

§  Should be able to translate texts into Turkish and English

§  Academic and practical experience in textile

§  Knowledge of the manufacturing stages, concepts and principles of the short staple manufacturing process

Main Responsibilities

§  Visits customers to learn about their challenges and issues.

§  Provides textile application training of the USTER products

§  Supports in optimal application of USTER services.

§  Troubleshoots as required in textile application relative issues, as a pre- and after-sales support.

§  Interacts with customers to develop Textile Technological “know-how” to support the development of proper and suitable new products.

§  Transfers “know-how” to end users and supports them to achieve performance excellence.

§  Facilitates and support product and solution events such as seminars, symposia, shows, etc.

Special needs / skills and capabilities

§  Strong in verbal and written communication skills.

§  Basic proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications

§  Ability to set priorities and manage time and resources

§  Strong organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills to coordinate and present customer plant trials, internal trials and other projects as required.

§  Ability to work independently as needed with minimum direct supervision

§  Open minded and team spirited

§  Willing to travel (50%)  (according to the needs and after planning)
